Graphic Glass as a Hospitality Experience
Located in New York City’s vibrant Meatpacking District, the Gansevoort Hotel sought to create an atmosphere that reflected the neighborhood’s energy while maintaining the sophistication expected of a luxury hospitality destination. CARVART was engaged to develop a custom graphic glass solution that would contribute to the hotel’s distinctive identity and enhance key public spaces throughout the property.
Working alongside the design team, CARVART’s GRAPHICglass was incorporated across lobby, corridor, and bar environments, introducing layered visual interest while maintaining the clean architectural lines of the interior. The illuminated glass surfaces interact with light throughout the day and evening, creating depth, texture, and a sense of movement that reinforces the hotel’s contemporary character.
The result is an immersive hospitality environment where custom glass becomes part of the guest experience itself. Through the thoughtful integration of graphic imagery, lighting, and architectural glass, CARVART helped create spaces that feel modern, engaging, and unmistakably Gansevoort.
