As part of one of the most significant expansion and modernization efforts in Penn Presbyterian Medical Center's recent history, CARVART contributed custom architectural glass solutions designed to enhance both the patient experience and the overall healthcare environment. The project focused on creating spaces that feel welcoming, calming, and supportive while maintaining the privacy, durability, and performance required within a leading medical facility.
Central to the installation is CARVART's custom PATTERNglass featuring the etched "Vision" pattern, developed to introduce texture, visual softness, and a sense of comfort throughout patient and family areas. The carefully considered pattern helps create a more human centered environment while preserving the openness and natural light that contribute to occupant well being. Custom laminated glass dividers and wall systems incorporating specialized reflective properties further support patient privacy without creating spaces that feel closed off or institutional.
